I have gotten a hint that my puzzles have been to analytical so far. So by the following puzzle I hope I can engage the more natural numbered readers.You have two separate cords of dynamite fuse. Both cords will take one hour each to burn but they don't burn at even rate i.e. half a cord won't necessarily take half an hour to burn.
How should you burn the fuses to measure 45min?

Lighten one of fhe cords on both ends and the other one just on one end. When the first one has bournt out half an hour is elapsed and if you then lighten the other end of the second cord it will be finished 15 minutes later i.e. 45 minutes total.
